Renowned OFCCP Corporate Compliance Group Joins National Employment Law Firm Littler Mendelson

Washinton, D.C./ April 19, 2006 -- Littler Mendelson, the nation's largest employment and labor law firm, announced that several former members of competitor Morgan Lewis Resources-OFCCP have joined the firm in its Washington, DC office as of today.

The group focuses on helping companies with federal government contracts and subcontracts comply with equal employment opportunity regulations promulgated by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Their services include preparing affirmative action plans on a flat fee basis, responding to OFCCP desk audit submission notices, representing companies in on-site audits, evaluating compensation practices, and providing other advice and counsel on a variety of matters such as OFCCP's jurisdiction to audit, EEO-1 forms, and statistical analysis of employment decisions.

Former Director of Morgan Lewis Resources-OFCCP, Alissa A. Horvitz, leads the group of attorneys and legal professionals who joined Littler Mendelson. "I've long admired Littler's business model from afar. I am thrilled to bring my group to the firm and have its national resources and experience at my clients' disposal," said Horvitz. She practiced law with Morgan Lewis for 16 years before her departure. Other group members include attorney Joshua S. Roffman, now Of Counsel to Littler Mendelson, Client AAP Advisor Nikki L. Alphonse, Data Analysts Dan Kaattari and Judy Tomkins, and Client Services Assistant, Danielle Hubbard.

For Littler, the addition of the OFCCP practice group greatly enhances the firm's existing Corporate Compliance — OFCCP practice and its ability to provide OFCCP advice and representation to clients throughout the nation. "As more companies engage in contracting with the federal government, their task of complying with new OFCCP regulations and dealing with stepped-up enforcement efforts has become more complicated," stated Kevin Wright, Managing Shareholder for Littler's Washington DC office. "We are excited to add such an experienced group to our firm. They are perfectly poised to help our clients with the increasingly complex challenges of OFCCP compliance."
