Joining Littler from Hunton & Williams, Duffie has been practicing employment and labor law for 37 years.  For most of the 20 years spent at Hunton & Williams, Duffie served in leadership roles, first as managing partner of the Atlanta office, then as the Co-Head for the firm’s Labor and Employment practice.  He also was a founding attorney of Ford & Harrison in 1978 and remained there until 1988. 

 

Duffie advises and represents corporate clients on a broad range of employment and labor matters including employment litigation, union organizing, wage-hour, unfair competition, workplace safety and ERISA.  He has successfully defended numerous class and collective actions, as well as successfully countered union organizing campaigns in more than 40 states.  He has also designed and implemented compliance and preventative programs on avoiding employment litigation, staying union-free and building employee morale.

Duffie received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor of arts degree from Wofford College.  He is a member of the Georgia and Florida State Bars.
