New Attorneys and Offices to Further Strengthen Firm with Extensive Employment Law Experience

O'Brien, Jr. and Patricia E. Reilly, former Tyler Cooper attorneys, will lead Littler's expansion into Connecticut with the opening of offices in New Haven and Stamford.

For Littler, the New Haven and Stamford offices are the firm's 40th and 41st offices, respectively. Littler's presence in New Haven and Stamford fortifies the firm's strong national presence and increases the resources it can offer existing and prospective clients in Connecticut.

Both New Haven and Stamford are emerging business communities of increasing importance, both nationally and internationally. Lori B. Alexander has extensive experience representing small, medium, and large sized companies throughout Connecticut. Her practices focuses on the areas of employment litigation, human resource advice and counsel, labor advice, and housing discrimination defense. She earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, her M.A. from New York University and her B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Dartmouth College. Ms. Alexander is resident in the firm's New Haven office.

Debbie D. Cannavino has been practicing labor and employment law since 1990. She represents employers in a wide variety of employment related matters, including the defense of employment and housing discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and common law tort claims. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and her B.A., with honors, from Northwestern University. Ms. Cannavino is resident in the firm's Stamford office.

George E. O'Brien, Jr. counsels employers about a wide variety of labor matters. He represents the management of hospitals and corporations in collective bargaining, grievances, arbitrations and other aspects of the relationship with unions. His practice also focuses on defending employment discrimination and wrongful discharge actions. He earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and his A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University. Mr. O'Brien is resident in the firm's New Haven office.

Patricia E. Reilly litigates employment and business disputes, and asbestos cases. She counsels clients on every aspect of personnel management, including employee hiring, discipline and termination, wage and hour issues, sexual harassment investigations and prevention, disability accommodation, and avoidance of employment discrimination liability.
