Littler Heads Downtown

Leading Labor & Employment Firm Expands Regional Presence with the Opening of Second Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2011) - Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, continues its strategic expansion with the addition of a downtown Los Angeles office. Littler’s new office space is located in the Wells Fargo Center at 333 South Grand Avenue, Suite 2280, just blocks from the Los Angeles Superior Court. The firm will maintain its Century City location with Robert Blumberg serving as the office managing shareholder of both offices.

“We are excited about our new downtown office and see this as the next logical step in the growth and expansion of our Southern California presence,” said Blumberg. “With the region’s vast geography, a downtown Los Angeles location, along with our Century City and Orange County offices, will enable us to better serve clients throughout the region. Additionally, it will help us to further expand our reputation as the nation’s leading employment and labor law firm, with top quality attorneys who prefer working in a downtown location. In the last five years, we have doubled our presence in the Los Angeles region and our goal is to continue to increase the firm’s depth in Southern California.”

Littler currently employs more than 100 attorneys in Southern California, including 63 attorneys in its Century City office. Several of the firm’s attorneys will divide their time between the downtown and Century City locations. As Littler continues its steady growth, it has expanded into several key markets domestically and internationally. The firm recently opened a Nashville, TN office and last year marked the firm’s official launch in the international arena with the opening of its Venezuela office.

“As we continue to grow, there is a need for on-the-ground resources in a number of important geographic markets,” added Marko Mrkonich, Littler’s president and managing director. “In Southern California, we recognized that we could further enhance our client service and our ability to attract new lawyers with an additional office location.”
