Littler Expands Minneapolis Office with Addition of Special Counsel

MINNEAPOLIS, MN/ July 17, 2009 – Littler Mendelson, P.C., the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is pleased to announce that Reid Carron has joined the firm’s growing Minneapolis office as special counsel.

Coming out of retirement to join Littler, Carron had been practicing for over 34 years with Faegre and Benson LLP.  For nine years, Carron served as Head of Faegre & Benson's Labor and Employment Law Group and remained there until 2007.

Carron has represented management in all major areas of employment and labor law, with an emphasis on labor-management relations, including collective bargaining; arbitrations; and business mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations.  He represents employers in a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, food processing, grocery distribution, transportation, education, technology, medical devices, wholesale and mail-order, publishing, financial services, package delivery, legal services, healthcare and industrial chemicals.

He is a frequent lecturer at the Minnesota State Bar Association and American Bar Association labor law seminars and the author of two articles published in ABA's The Labor Lawyer.  He is recognized as a leading lawyer by numerous publications, including The Best Lawyers in America and the prestigious Chambers USA Guide

Carron received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
