Enloe to Rehire Some Laid-Off Workers

Enloe hospital has chosen to hire Littler Mendelson as a replacement for its labor relations representation in order to create a better relationship with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The lay-offs of over 150 employees has caused great unrest for the SEIU, so Enloe has hired Littler to help mend the relationship and achieve smoother negotiations. Debi Yancer, CEO of Enloe, stated that Littler Mendelson, uses a "relationship-based" approach, has worked successfully with the SEIU and is respected "on both sides of the table."
