Contractors Sue To Block New Calif. Refinery Safety Law

Michael Lotito provides commentary on the Senate Bill 54 (SB 54), a bill signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown that goes into effect January 1, 2014. The bill will require contractors who place workers in refineries to pay prevailing wages and include a percentage of highly skilled workers who have graduated from a state-approved apprenticeship program.
