DENVER (May 13, 2026) – Littler, the world’s largest labor and employment law practice representing management, has named Shareholder Michelle Gomez as the firm’s Executive Director of Wellness, Engagement & Development. In this newly created role, Gomez will help shape and advance Littler’s firmwide approach to wellness, strengthen employee engagement strategies, and guide employee development opportunities that support ongoing career growth.

“I’m thrilled that Michelle is stepping into this position, which sits at the center of how we support one another—not just as colleagues, but as people balancing demanding, complex work alongside our personal lives and priorities,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “Her appointment reflects Littler’s continued commitment to building an environment where wellness, engagement, and professional growth are woven together to best serve our people.”

In addition to her client matters, Gomez will ensure that wellness is embedded throughout all facets of the firm. She will lead Littler’s comprehensive wellness strategy, and develop and implement programs that support the mental, physical, and emotional health of all Littler employees. She will also partner with firm leadership to further integrate wellness in the firm’s culture and oversee resources related to wellbeing while providing training on fostering healthy, high performing teams. In addition, she will continue to oversee important attorney development initiatives such as new hire onboarding and integration, as well as the creation and implementation of innovative attorney training programs.

“Michelle has had an immeasurable impact at Littler and been a tireless advocate for the role wellness plays in our lives,” said Melissa Cee, Littler’s Chief Talent Officer. “She brings intention and empathy to every aspect of her work, taking the time to listen, build meaningful connections, and foster a culture where people feel supported, heard and valued. There is no one better suited for this role, and we’re excited to have her take on these new responsibilities.”

Gomez’s appointment comes during Mental Health Awareness Month and at a time when employers are increasingly seeing the impact of mental health in their workplaces. According to Littler’s 2026 Employer Survey, nearly 70% of employers experienced increases in the volume of mental health related leaves of absence and accommodation requests during the past year.

“Wellness has long been a passion of mine, and I’m grateful to work at a firm that truly values these efforts and makes them a core part of its DNA,” said Gomez. “We are stronger for ourselves, our colleagues and clients when we support one another and have the tools to show up to work as our best selves. I look forward to making that a reality at Littler for years to come.”
