Kathryn Siegel Named Executive Director of Littler’s Labor Practice Group
(November 10, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest labor and employment law practice representing management, has appointed Kathryn (Kat) Siegel as the Executive Director of the firm’s Labor Practice Group. A shareholder affiliated with Littler’s Chicago office, Siegel will work closely with Labor Practice Group co-chairs Jonathan Levine, Tanja Thompson and Brooke Niedecken, along with other firm leaders, to drive the group’s strategic vision and planning.
“Kat’s forward-thinking, data-driven leadership approach and nearly two decades of experience practicing labor law position her well for this role,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “As the modern labor relations landscape continues to shift, Kat will be instrumental in evolving how we operate to deliver value to our clients with agility, efficiency and excellence.”
As Executive Director, Siegel will lead strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition and management, practice management, delivery of legal services, marketing, business development, and group profitability and revenue, while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence for the group’s clients.
“Kat brings an exceptional depth of experience in labor law and a proven track record of navigating complex labor issues with precision and insight,” said Levine, Thompson and Niedecken in a joint statement. “Her strategic vision and dynamic energy, combined with her strong leadership, make her the ideal choice to partner with us to guide the future of our practice group. We are confident that Kat’s background will elevate our capabilities and bolster our team’s ability to deliver innovative labor solutions to our clients.”
Siegel joined the firm in 2008 and has spent her career advising and representing employers in matters across labor relations and employment law. Siegel’s extensive labor relations experience includes advising clients through all stages of the labor relationship. She is a long-time member and recent management co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Practice and Procedure Under the National Labor Relations Act Committee. “I’m thrilled to step into this role,” said Siegel. “Our labor group is the largest in the country, distinguished by thought leaders who are shaping labor law at the forefront of employers’ most complex and challenging matters. I welcome this opportunity to build on our group’s strong foundation by continuing to elevate the brand, and by implementing new strategies that will allow our attorneys to continue to deliver creative, efficient solutions and excellent results for clients.”
Siegel earned her J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Miami University.
