Unions Have Chance To End Controversial Pay Tiers

As unions in collective bargaining talks have recently sought to eliminate tiered wage systems that give newer workers lower pay or benefits than long-tenured employees, Michael Lotito says the extent to which unions might be able to build the support to pressure employers on tiered systems depends in part on the size disparity between the two tiers.
