Littler attorney Trent Sutton is quoted throughout the article and provides advice for managers, stating, “Every company should consider having a social media policy to govern what they will do when the inevitable complaint about social networking comes. The policy, however, will need to be tailored to account for the recent shifts in the law concerning social networking. Moreover, it should also avoid being overly broad.”
