Ports Access Still Drives Teamsters

This article discusses the Teamsters’ campaign to unionize truck drivers at the Port of Long Beach in California. Littler Mendelson attorney Robert Millman comments on the Teamsters’ strategy of defeating the trucking companies through labor code enforcement, stating, “The short story is nothing (like this) has worked. This is nothing new. The question is: Are they going to be able to come up with some new game plan? They’re going to have to go back to the drawing board and think this through.”
