Most employers may have to use E-Verify system

Littler attorney Ian Macdonald is quoted in this article about the federal E-Verify system and the resulting crackdown by Georgia legislators on businesses that hire undocumented workers. “E-Verify, if implemented countrywide, would completely clear businesses of undocumented workers. If it’s not happening this year or next year, it’s going to happen in the near future,” he predicts.
