Handling Remote Work Requests from Employees Who Are on Leave

Alexis Knapp says employers should not respond to a request for leave as an ADA accommodation by saying, “That is not our policy,” or “We don’t let anyone else work remotely,” and consider whether an exception to the policy would be a reasonable accommodation.
