"More Than 1,000 Undocumented Workers Arrested," NPR

In this NPR radio newscast, reporter Jennifer Ludden explains the U.S. immigration officials announcement of their largest ever worksite enforcement action. In raids across the country, agents arrested more than 1,100 unauthorized employees at IFCO Systems, a distributor of wooden pallets. They also arrested seven officers of the company. Littler's Don Benson raises a series of issues that could poke holes in the goverment's case. He says, "I think it is scaring employers. It think it is a clear message to employers that you better pick up the phone and start calling your congressional and senate representatives because we need immigration reform badly."
