Virginia “Ginny” Woodfork focuses her practice on employment law, with a hybrid approach that blends high stakes litigation, strategic counseling, and workplace investigations. She has tried complex, high-profile matters in both federal and state courts and regularly represents clients before government agencies, as well as in trial and appellate courts.
Ginny handles a wide range of employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. She approaches every case with a litigator’s mindset – evaluating risk early, developing discovery strategies, and positioning matters for successful resolution through dispositive motions or trial. Her experience includes drafting position statements and pleadings, managing complex discovery, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and conducting direct and cross examinations in high exposure cases.
Beyond litigation, Ginny advises employers on day-to-day workplace challenges and prepares and reviews employment agreements, separation agreements, and employee policies, including handbooks. She also conducts internal and independent investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, and other misconduct, providing practical, defensible guidance to leadership teams.
Before joining Littler, Ginny litigated employment and commercial cases for seven years at a national boutique labor and employment firm in Denver and at a full service firm in St. Louis.
