Timothy Grishkevich

Timothy G. Grishkevich advises employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, from onboarding through separation. He partners with clients to navigate complex compliance challenges and mitigate risk in areas such as employee terminations, discrimination claims, wage and hour compliance, workplace policies, and wrongful discharge disputes. Tim also counsels employers on drafting and implementing handbooks, developing proactive training programs, and managing pre-litigation matters to prevent escalation.

Tim represents employers in employment and workers’ compensation disputes across Oregon and Washington, including proceedings before administrative agencies, jury trials, and appellate courts. He has successfully defended self-insured and state fund employers in claims before the Department of Labor and Industries and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals. Known for his thorough preparation and strategic approach, Tim works closely with clients to craft efficient, tailored solutions that safeguard their operations and achieve favorable outcomes.

Before focusing on employment law, Tim honed his advocacy skills as a trial attorney in criminal and civil litigation, appearing in courts throughout Oregon and negotiating complex resolutions in high-stakes cases. This experience informs his ability to assess risk, develop litigation strategies, and deliver results in challenging employment disputes.

During law school, he contributed to the Oregon Review of International Law and published research on immigration reform.
