For most of his legal career, Tim McInturf has focused almost exclusively on unfair competition matters including noncompete agreements, trade secrets, employee raiding, and other tort and contract issues that arise in unfair competition matters. He is a highly sought after problem solver for employers when they discover they may be the victim of employee theft of confidential information or trade secrets and breaches of noncompete agreements. Over the past 30 plus years he has served as lead counsel in numerous restraining orders, temporary injunctions, trials, and arbitrations. Tim also has experience working with clients to develop and implement IP protection strategies that include education, policies, procedures, and appropriate agreements.
Tim also did a stint in various leadership roles for a global Littler client that included president, executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and general counsel. As a result, Tim’s “bedside manner” is particularly appreciated by clients because he knows first-hand the pressures business owners, managers, and in-house counsel experience as the victims or plaintiffs in litigation matters. Tim’s management talent and experience is also relied upon by Littler itself in management committee positions relating to attorney hiring, training, promotion, and review.
