Terrina LaVallee
Terrina LaVallee brings a strong record of strategic problem solving and cross-sector collaboration to her practice. She represents employers in single plaintiff discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters, as well as in class and collective actions. Her management-side work gives her a practical understanding of workplace dynamics, risk mitigation, and sound operational decision making.
Terrina previously clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, where she worked on a range of class action and employment matters. Before her clerkship, she practiced at an international law firm, focusing on complex commercial litigation.
Terrina’s experience across both the bench and private practice has provided her with meaningful exposure to trial strategy, team leadership, and long-range planning. She is known for her steady judgment, collaborative mindset, and commitment to practical, forward-looking solutions.
During law school, she served as a staff editor for the Journal of Legal Ethics. She is an active member of The Wendell G. Freeland Society, reflecting her ongoing dedication to leadership and service within the Pittsburgh community.
