A proud Massachusetts native, Sebastian is a dedicated employment attorney committed to serving the needs of clients in the Commonwealth. Sebastian is skilled in all areas of employment law, including litigation of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. He also provides comprehensive advice and counsel to clients on employee handbooks, policies, wage and hour issues, and executive contract negotiations. In addition, Sebastian is adept at handling disputes involving noncompete agreements and other restrictive covenants.

While working for several firms in New York City, he gained extensive experience in the labor and employment space. Sebastian’s background includes representing employers on matters arising under Title VII, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, Massachusetts Wage Act, Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act, and other state and local EEO/wage and hour laws, as well as trade secret/noncompete, breach of contract and tort claims.

He has experience drafting discovery demands and responses, motions to compel, dismiss, in limine, and for summary judgment, along with attendant briefs in opposition/further support, position and mediation statements, case assessments, settlement agreements, consent agreements, and letters to administrative agency investigators.

He has mediated and negotiated resolutions of sexual harassment, gender discrimination, disability discrimination, housing discrimination, wage and hour, and executive compensation disputes with opposing counsel and government agencies.

During law school, Sebastian was an articles editor for the NYU Annual Survey of American Law, a student mediator and mediation trainer, and served as a research assistant and teaching assistant. He also participated in the NYU Civil Litigation Employment Law Clinic.
