Samantha L. Thomas represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including complex employment litigation, workplace investigations, and day-to-day advice and counsel. She partners with clients to navigate sensitive workplace issues and develop practical, risk-conscious solutions.
Samantha has experience managing all phases of litigation, playing a key role in developing case strategy, drafting dispositive motions and substantive pleadings, directing discovery, preparing witnesses for depositions, and contributing to trial strategy and overall case positioning. She focuses her practice on representing employers in complex discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. Samantha also represents employers in proceedings before federal, state, and local agencies, including responding to charges of discrimination and advising on strategy and resolution.
In addition to her litigation practice, Samantha counsels employers on a broad range of workplace issues. She advises on employee discipline and termination, compliance with employment laws, and best practices for workplace policies. Samantha regularly drafts and revises employment, separation, and confidentiality agreements tailored to clients’ operational needs. Samantha also has experience conducting and supporting internal investigations into employee complaints, including allegations of misconduct and policy violations, helping organizations address issues promptly while minimizing legal risk.
Prior to joining Littler, Samantha was a labor and employment attorney at a well-respected law firm in New York, where she focused on litigation and client advocacy.
