Rex S. Yoshida concentrates his practice on providing counsel and representation to employers across the full spectrum of employment and labor law matters. He assists clients in addressing a wide range of workplace disputes, such as federal labor law, wage and hour issues, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and the enforcement of restrictive covenants. Rex has represented clients in actions before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Labor Commissioner, and the California Civil Rights Department.
Graduating magna cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law (USF), Rex has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and a mastery of complex legal principles. While at USF, he served as a staffer for the University of San Francisco Law Review and an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and Labor and Employment Law Student Association (LELSA).
Rex further expanded his legal experience through an internship with a law firm that concentrates on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Likewise, Rex interned at the National Labor Relations Board, where he received invaluable exposure to the intricacies of federal labor law and the practical realities of labor relations. Rex also interned at a circuit court in Hawaii, where he gained firsthand insight into judicial processes and the application of state law.
