Overview

As a brief writer for Littler CaseSmart – Litigation™, Peter Wendzel formulates and executes briefing strategy for cases. He evaluates and selects legal authority that supports the facts and circumstances of each case and prepares substantive briefs and motions, including complex dispositive motions, discovery motions and briefing concerning discovery and other strategic issues. Peter is based in Florida.

Working on class and collective action matters, he brings to bear his extensive experience both as an outside lawyer and as an in-house lawyer. Peter has been practicing since 1992, having risen to partner with two major firms as well as having worked for nearly 15 years as in-house counsel for a leading hospitality company, rising to the level of Senior Vice President. Peter has significant trial experience and has personally handled or overseen thousands of cases, including scores of cases alleging class, collective, and PAGA claims.
