Miko Sargizian is a trusted advocate for employers in complex labor and employment matters, with a strong track record of results in both state and federal courts. She brings extensive trial experience, having litigated and taken cases to jury trial across jurisdictions, and is known for her strategic, thorough, and courtroom-ready approach to high-stakes disputes.

Miko regularly defends employers, including Fortune 500 companies, against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She is particularly experienced in navigating sensitive and high-exposure claims involving sexual harassment, sexual battery, and workplace assault, with a focus on protecting client reputation and minimizing litigation risk.

She also handles complex wage and hour matters, including class actions and PAGA representative actions, involving alleged violations of overtime, meal and rest periods, and off-the-clock work.

In addition to litigation, Miko partners with employers to deliver practical, preventative guidance tailored to each client’s operations. She provides ongoing advice and counsel to HR teams, executives, and in-house counsel on:

  • Strategic responses to workplace complaints, including sexual harassment claims
  • Lawful hiring, termination, and discipline practices
  • Wage and hour compliance and audits
  • Workplace investigations and documentation protocols
  • Leave management and reasonable accommodations
  • Compliance with state and federal employment regulations

Miko earned an Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate, with Honors, from the McCarthy Institute for Intellectual Property and Technology at the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, Miko clerked with an NFL football team, where she focused on employment litigation, including workers compensation and player injury grievances and complaints.
