Overview

Lauren P. Manso counsels management clients on labor and employment matters.

Previously, Lauren worked in the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York as an assistant district attorney in the Special Investigations Bureau for four years. While there, she conducted long term investigations of large scale, domestic and international narcotics trafficking and money laundering organizations, including matters surrounding the opioid crisis. She was the lead prosecutor on these complex cases and prosecuted those cases to completion. Lauren also worked as an assistant district attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office (Trial Division) for four years where she prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases through trial. She litigated over 20 hearings and trials (jury and bench) to verdict and conducted over 70 grand jury presentations.  

During law school, Lauren served as a research assistant to Professor Pnina Lahav and interned at the New York County District Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. She was a staff member on the American Journal of Law and Medicine and active in the Latin American Law Student Association.
