Overview

Kimberly C. Ohanuka counsels and represents employers in various labor and employment matters. Kim's background includes successfully defending clients in federal and state courts against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Americans with Disabilities Act ​(ADA), and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) claims. She has extensive experience representing employers before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has experience conducting internal workplace investigations regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and ethical and policy violations. Finally, she has experience in defending and counseling clients on wage and hour collective actions and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance.

Before joining Littler, Kimberly honed her skills at a national law firm, where she tackled a broad spectrum of employment, commercial litigation, and regulatory matters. Prior to joining private practice, Kim clerked for the Hon. Charles H. Dorsey III, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge, and the Hon. Gina L. Simms, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
