Overview

As a member of the Littler CaseSmart – Charges™ team and based in Colorado, Kathleen O'Grady is responsible for handling charges from investigation to conclusion. She works on client-dedicated service teams, focusing on handling administrative agency charges. She investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, she defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information.

Before joining Littler, Kathleen held an in-house employment counsel position with a fintech company based out of Boulder, Colorado. She advised management of the company and its affiliated entities on workplace matters, such as employee compensation issues, employee onboarding and offboarding. Kathleen also drafted employment contracts, including employment agreements related to M&A deals.

Kathleen previously worked in the Denver office of a national law firm focused on labor and employment law, where she was on the employment litigation team. She served as the office's designated disability and leave management attorney and was on their COVID-19 task force. Kathleen began her legal career as an associate attorney for a mid-sized municipal law firm in Chicago, where she was on the firm’s employment law team.
