Overview

As a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and based in New Jersey, K. Shea Lukacsko is responsible for handling administrative agency charges from investigation to conclusion. She works on client-dedicated service teams, focused on handling charges. She investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, Shea defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information and/or pursues resolution of the charge through formal or informal settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Littler, Shea worked for an East Coast law firm where she represented employers in a wide range of employment law matters throughout the country in state and federal courts and before various administrative tribunals. Shea has extensive experience in the defense of employment discrimination and wrongful discharge litigation, including cases involving allegations of sexual harassment; discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, age, disability and gender; violations of family leave, equal pay, whistleblower and other statutes; and contract, public policy and common law tort claims.
