Overview

Joseph Cooper has practiced as an employment and labor law attorney for seven years. Joe’s practice is focused on representing employers in labor disputes, labor arbitrations, and state and federal court litigation involving discrimination and wrongful termination claims. Joe also regularly assists clients in drafting and implementing employee handbook policies and achieving compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Prior to joining Littler, Joe worked at a boutique labor and employment firm in Providence, Rhode Island, representing public school districts, hospitals, universities, and other public entities and private businesses in labor disputes, employee misconduct investigations, discrimination claims, and responding to public records requests. He regularly assisted those clients in matters that included grievance hearings and arbitrations, administrative disciplinary hearings, and drafting and implementing employment policies.
