Jason M. Branciforte

Jason M. Branciforte provides strategic and legal guidance to a variety of companies of all sizes around the United States, with a particular experience working with government contractors. His practice includes over 35 years of legal experience helping employers with all of their employment and labor law issues, including advising them and litigating on their behalf in connection with claims based upon:
- The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- The Americans with Disabilities Act
- The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
- The Family and Medical Leave Act
- The National Labor Relations Act
- The Fair Labor Standards Act
- The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act
Jason regularly appears before state and federal courts throughout the United States and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board and the Department of Labor.
Jason’s particular experience with and knowledge of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act, and related federal and state statutes, including the interaction between the Service Contract Act and the National Labor Relations Act, gives him insight to assist government contractors with all aspects of their operations.
Additionally, Jason has an active labor relations practice and regularly represents clients in arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, strikes, union election campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, and strategic labor relations planning matters. He has particular experience in the federal contracting sector, as well as in the security and correctional facility industries.
Jason also has a diverse counseling practice. He regularly advises employers on all matters related to union and nonunion employment, including but not limited to employee separations and terminations, employee discipline, wage payment issues, and workplace privacy issues. His work also includes advising clients on navigating numerous federal and state statutes and regulations relating to the workplace, union avoidance strategies, strikes, and how to effectively manage with a union.
Jason is a former member of Littler Mendelson's Board of Directors and currently serves on the Shareholder Candidate Committee.
