Ian G. Robertson’s employment law practice focuses not only on litigation, but also on preventative measures such as hiring, performance management, termination, training programs, handbook preparation, and compliance counseling. Ian’s practice spans numerous industries, including retail sales, hospitality, government agencies, and healthcare organizations.

Ian regularly assists clients with proactive advice and in litigation for claims relating to wrongful termination, employee discipline, wage and hour disputes, alternative workweek scheduling, misclassification, unfair competition, trade secrets, arbitration, whistleblower, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, class action, reductions in force, commission pay plans, executive compensation, breach of contract, embezzlement, and other employment related issues.

Previously, he worked as an accountant in the financial auditing wing of one of the world’s largest international accounting firms. Ian lived in Denmark for a number of years, where he learned to speak Danish fluently.
