Giro Maccheroni advises management clients on labor and employment law matters. Prior to joining Littler, Giro gained experience across a range of litigation and public service roles and as a former small business owner. Most recently, he served as a legal intern in the Robert W. Entenmann Veterans Law Clinic, where he represented military veterans seeking service-connected disability benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, he drafted appellate briefs, conducted legal and factual research, and presented oral argument on behalf of a veteran client under faculty supervision.

Giro also served as a summer associate at Littler, where he reviewed plaintiff complaints, conducted legal research, and contributed to the drafting of motions to dismiss, reply briefs, and other litigation documents in connection with employment-related disputes. In addition, he worked as a legal extern at a New York law firm where he interviewed clients, drafted complaints, conducted legal research, and prepared responses to motions.

Earlier in his legal career, Giro served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Joseph F. Bianco of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He drafted memoranda and observed appellate proceedings. He also gained experience in trusts and estates matters as a legal intern in the office of a New York attorney, drafting estate planning documents and assisting with trust administration and asset protection.

Prior to attending law school, Giro served as a police officer with the New York City Police Department and as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he held leadership roles and completed two overseas combat deployments.
