Overview

As a brief writer for Littler CaseSmart – Litigation™, Gil Rochbert formulates and executes briefing strategy for cases. He evaluates and selects legal authority that supports the facts and circumstances of each case and prepares substantive briefs and motions, including complex dispositive motions, discovery motions and briefing concerning discovery and other strategic issues. Gil is based in Colorado.

Prior to joining Littler, Gil practiced with civil litigation firms in Massachusetts where his focus was brief writing and oral argument. Gil has argued matters before numerous administrative agencies and courts, including state and federal courts in Massachusetts, and submitted briefs before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and United States Citizen and Immigration Services. He also served two years as a Massachusetts Superior Court law clerk. Gil’s litigation and clerkship experience has provided him with broad exposure to employment, immigration, medical malpractice and personal injury matters.
