Overview

Dr. Markus Schmechel's focus lies particularly on individual labor law, litigation, and the continuous legal advice to companies and managing directors. Even in stressful situations, Markus always maintains the necessary calm and convinces with his friendly, open manner. Through his conscientious and structured work approach, he penetrates even complex issues. He can also effectively utilize his teamwork skills not only in his legal practice but also on the football field.

Markus previously was an attorney at Fuhlrott Employment Law Firm, and an attorney in the Employment Law Department of FHM - Fuhlrott Hiéramente & von der Meden Partnership of Attorneys at Law, as well as an attorney at Luther Law Firm.

He was a lecturer for Labor Law at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg in 2023.

Markus completed a legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Celle, including placements at Noerr PartGmbB (Employment & Pensions) and Norton Rose Fulbright LLP (Employment) in Hamburg, in addition to the accompanying work for the promotion as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Eva Schumann for German Legal History and Civil Law, Georg-August-University Göttingen.
