Pronounced: Dom-i-Neeka Bat-ten
Dominika Batten represents clients in labor and employment law matters. She has over a decade of legal experience across public service and private practice, with a focus on employment law and a background in complex litigation, government compliance, and disciplinary matters.
Before joining Littler, Dominika served as Senior Associate General Counsel to the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline, where she provided legal counsel on judicial ethics and disciplinary proceedings. She also spent several years as a Deputy Attorney General with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, advising state agencies on a broad range of employment law issues, including discipline, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and reasonable accommodation. Her work included representing the state in proceedings before the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC) and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), as well as litigating cases in state and federal courts. She was the prevailing party in matters that resulted in precedent-setting decisions involving statutory interpretation and standards of review in employment law.
Dominika began her legal career in private practice, managing a complex civil litigation portfolio and defending clients in negligence and tort actions. She worked for a national bank in roles involving wealth management, risk management, and loss control prior to and during part of her time in law school.
