Dionna Shear’s practice covers a wide variety of labor and employment matters, with a significant focus on unfair competition and trade secrets, and general business and contract disputes. Dionna represents clients in employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation in federal and state courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Counsel (EEOC).
Dionna also helps clients conduct workplace investigations arising out of complaints of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
Dionna additionally advises clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in the retail, financial services, and emerging technologies industries, on a range of workplace legal issues, including performance, terminations, pay transparency, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Previously, she was a law clerk for the Hon. Mark D. Houle, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California.
