Diego M. Picó Vázquez joined Littler in 2026 after three years of practicing commercial litigation at a San Juan firm, where he gained significant additional experience in handling labor and employment disputes.
During law school, he served as associate editor and later senior editor of Volumes XCI and XCII of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review. He also was vice president of the Federal Bar Association, U.P.R. Student Chapter. He participated in the Environmental Law Clinic, where he contributed to legislative efforts aimed at protecting Puerto Rico’s natural resources, and worked as a law clerk at the firm from 2022 to 2023.
During his undergraduate studies, Diego completed internships in both the public and private sectors, including with legal counsel to the governor of Puerto Rico, the United States Congress, and a government affairs firm in Washington, D.C. He also earned a certificate in American Constitutional Democracy and a minor in Leadership and Public Service.
