Overview

Derek Hecht has an extensive background in trade secret and unfair competition matters. He has assisted in dozens of investigations for companies all over the world to help them protect and recover their confidential and proprietary information. Derek's work includes leading computer forensic investigations, developing internal policies and procedures, and litigation. His deep knowledge of computer forensics allows him to help companies quickly identify threats and security breaches, and lead any recovery efforts.   

Derek regularly advises clients on a wide range of issues, including the enforceability of restrictive covenants, proprietary information and confidentiality agreements, and electronic data policies.
