Denise Fields focuses her practice on labor and employment law matters.
Denise has advised clients in complex employment-related issues, prepared appellate briefings and represented ERISA plan administrators and fiduciaries in a variety of claims. She has negotiated labor contracts between unions and employers, represented employers before the EEOC, and conducted employee and management level training regarding EEO and labor policies.
Denise’s litigation experience includes serving as both first- and second-chair in trial for fact and expert witnesses, drafting pretrial pleadings, and collaborating with expert witnesses to develop reports. She has prepared witnesses for examination at trial, interviewed witnesses to develop facts and case strategies, and managed all aspects of electronic discovery.
During law school, Denise served as literary editor for the UMKC Law Review.
