Cirrus Jahangiri helps employers tackle labor and employment challenges head-on.

He has defended clients in state and federal courts against claims under Title VII and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination actions. Cirrus also has experience defending complex wage and hour class actions and PAGA lawsuits. He is actively involved in all aspects of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, preparing dispositive and procedural motions, and coordinating responses to agency investigations.

Cirrus’ traditional labor practice includes supporting collective bargaining negotiations (serving as first and second chair), advising during union campaigns and elections, and assisting with unfair labor practice proceedings before the NLRB. He also counsels employers on day-to-day labor and employment issues such as drafting and revising workplace policies, managing employee discipline and performance concerns, and navigating disability accommodation requests and reductions in force.

In addition, Cirrus assists employers with workplace safety compliance and enforcement matters. He has represented clients in responding to Cal/OSHA investigations, contesting and appealing citations, and developing injury and illness prevention programs to reduce risk and maintain compliance.

Cirrus aids employers in navigating labor and employment matters with practical, detail-oriented support. He handles the core work that drives results and is focused on solving problems efficiently and reducing risk, so clients can keep their operations running smoothly.

Beyond his practice, Cirrus is deeply committed to pro bono work, having handled matters involving guardianship, immigration, and labor counseling. During law school, he externed for Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero of the California Supreme Court and Justice Thomas Goethals of the California Court of Appeal.
