Overview

Cassidy Sorrells Yates advises and represents employers in legal disputes.

Prior to joining Littler, Cassidy worked for a full-service law firm in its litigation practice group where she gained extensive experience representing individuals and entities in lawsuits brought in state and federal court. Her litigation experience includes investigating claims, drafting pleadings, conducting fact and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, participating in mediations, preparing for and defending clients in jury trials, and preparing pleadings and briefs for filing with Kentucky appellate courts.

Cassidy has second-chaired two jury trials in state court and in May 2023 second-chaired a week-long jury trial in Kentucky that resulted in a full defense verdict for the client.

In addition to representing clients involved in litigation, she has also assisted clients involved in federal civil and criminal investigations concerning various issues.
