Overview

C. Esther Choi counsels and represents employers before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies in a broad range of employment law matters, including discrimination and harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wrongful termination, and civil rights. She has extensive experience successfully handling depositions, settlement conferences and negotiations, dispositive motions, and discovery disputes.

Prior to joining Littler, Esther represented private and public entities in civil litigation matters involving employment disputes, constitutional violations, tort defense, construction disputes, and municipal prosecutions. She also worked at the City of Chicago handling complex litigation on employment and constitutional law matters in state and federal court.

During law school, Esther served as judicial extern for the Hon. Bertina Lampkin of the Illinois Appellate Court. She also served as the summer editor for the Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute and published an article in The Federal Lawyer.
