Overview

As a member of the Littler CaseSmart – Charges™ team and based in Washington, Brittany Stevens is responsible for handling charges from investigation to conclusion. She works on client-dedicated service teams, focusing on handling administrative agency charges. She investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, she defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information.

Prior to joining Littler, Brittany was senior counsel at a national law firm, where she focused on representing and advising employers in all aspects of employment law. Brittany represented employers in various employment-related disputes and handled all facets of litigation (federal, and state) and alternative dispute resolution. In addition, she conducted investigations regarding discrimination, harassment and retaliation charges, submitted position statements, responded to information requests, and handled mediations and settlement negotiations at the administrative agency level (EEOC or state agency). Brittany also provided advice to employers on various employment and wage-related issues and assisted clients with employment agreements and confidentiality agreements.
