Overview

Bren K. Thomas focuses his practice on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Bren has extensive litigation experience that includes conducting numerous jury and bench trials involving complex commercial issues and matters related to:

  • Class actions
  • ERISA
  • Title VII
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
  • The Family and Medical Leave Act
  • Related state claims

With more than 50 trials under his belt, Bren has a winning percentage of almost 85 percent on behalf of clients. He also has experience trying class actions, including a successful four-and-a-half month wage and hour class action trial, as well as ERISA matters. He has litigated before numerous administrative bodies, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the National Transportation Safety Board, and the Federal Communications Commission, and presented continuing education courses on litigation and insurance issues.
