Overview

Antonio Monteiro Fernandes dedicated a large part of his life to researching and teaching labor law and related matters. He has been a professor at several public and private universities; he currently teaches at the NOVA School of Law in Lisbon.

In connection with teaching, Antonio has published over a hundred articles in national and foreign reviews, as well as numerous books, including a well-known manual on labor law, in its 20th edition.

A part of his professional activity was dedicated to management jobs in the human resources areas of large companies, including ANA, manager of Portuguese airports. In this context, he acquired vast experience in collective bargaining processes.
