Overview

Andrés Bermúdez Duchamp has considerable experience in tax procedure, as well as in advising and representing clients in all stages of administrative and judicial tax proceedings.

Previously, Andrés served as Deputy Commissioner for Tax Disputes and Appeals of the Colombian Tax Administration (DIAN). He has worked as associate in top-tier law firms in New York and in Colombia, advising local and foreign companies in the design and implementation of all types of investment structures, considering their tax effects and efficiencies.

Andrés is an undergraduate and graduate lecturer at Universidad de los Andes’ Law School, and has authored publications in specialized tax magazines as well as in publications of the Colombian Tax Law Institute.
