Andrea Yamamoto is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in California. She partners with local Littler litigation teams in formulating and executing a discovery strategy for employment class, collective, mass and representative actions. Prior to joining Littler, Andrea focused her practice on complex business litigation and employment litigation. She has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of cases, including wrongful termination and retaliation cases, class action construction defect cases, breach of contract claims and antitrust matters.

She represented the world’s third largest semiconductor company in a multi-billion dollar antitrust case, managing over 65 cases centralized under the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. Andrea successfully defended a global audit, financial advisory, tax and consulting leader in a wrongful termination and retaliation case in Los Angeles Superior Court. She represented a leading global adhesives manufacturer in a construction defect class action, conducting the majority of plaintiff depositions, drafting all responsive pleadings for trial.

During law school, she worked as a judicial extern to the Hon. Richard D. Cudahy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In addition, Andrea worked in the New York and Los Angeles offices of a global law firm on a broad range of litigation matters.
