Allyson Petersen Francis
Allyson Petersen Francis represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment law matters. Her practice focuses on advising and defending employers in all stages of pretrial litigation in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, and sensitive workplace investigations, with an emphasis on practical risk management and efficient resolution.
Allyson has significant experience handling federal, state, and local administrative charges and regularly defends claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower allegations, failure to accommodate, and leave-related issues. She also has extensive experience conducting confidential workplace investigations and providing fact-based recommendations to all levels of leadership and counseling employers on successful strategies for compliance issues, disciplinary matters, and policies and procedures with a goal of resolving conflict and mitigating risk pre-litigation.
Allyson represents employers across a range of industries, including manufacturing and industrial operations; healthcare and life sciences; consumer products, retail, and food and beverage; financial services; technology; and senior living and long-term care. She works closely with in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and business leaders to address sensitive employee relations issues while minimizing legal and operational risk.
During law school, she was actively involved in moot court and student leadership organizations.
