Abigail Woodruff focuses her practice on labor and employment law matters.

Prior to joining Littler, Abby was a lead investigator at the University of Southern California, where she thoroughly investigated complex discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. She counseled faculty and staff regarding university policy and reported concerns, and onboarded and mentored other Investigators, including revising and providing constructive feedback on written work product. Abby conducted Spanish- and English-language training sessions on discrimination, harassment, implicit bias, and microaggressions. As part of her role, she reviewed university policies and procedures, and consulted weekly with external vendors regarding software improvements to online case management system.

Her experience includes working as an associate at a California law firm where she defended public and private clients in CRD (formerly DFEH) and EEOC matters, in state court, arbitration, municipal administrative proceedings. She also advised public clients on employment policies and employee handbooks.

Previously, she was an associate at a global law firm where she litigated wage and hour, exemption, discrimination, and harassment claims, drafted mediation briefs, motions to dismiss, declarations, complaints, and temporary restraining orders. She managed junior associates and support staff on complex employee misclassification matters. She also drafted employment agreements and employee handbooks, and conducted training sessions on cutting-edge employment matters, including sexual harassment.
