Kate practises all aspects of employment law including contentious and non-contentious matters and day-to-day HR advisory work.
Kate is experienced in providing strategic advice on handling complex grievances and disciplinaries as well as senior exits and severance packages. She regularly provides support on corporate matters which involves carrying out large scale due diligence exercises, working with management teams on employer relations pre-acquisition, and assisting with post-transaction harmonisation processes. Kate has also been involved with both employment tribunal litigation and High Court competition matters.
Kate is particularly interested in diversity and inclusion within the workplace, and regularly works with management teams to update and enhance their policies and practices to help achieve their diversity and inclusion objectives.
Prior to joining GQ Employment Law in September 2017, Kate worked in the employment team at Taylor Wessing in London. During her time at Taylor Wessing she completed an international work placement in Seoul as well as secondments to the in-house commercial teams at Ricoh and Enterprise-Rent-A-Car.
